When she went to school to take admission, 10 schools did not give her admission. With some troubles, she got admission to a school. But none of the students used to talk to her in school, nor did he make any friends.

Facing negative circumstances, she got her school education. Next, she had to take graduate-level education. Due to this, her father was not happy at all. Geeta Chauhan also gave interviews to get a job along with her education to enable herself. But due to her physical disability, no company was ready to give her a job. She had to face negativity from 28 companies. Then got a job as a telecaller at a company.

Patienceful people successfully cross the rivers of objection by riding on the boat of confidence.

Due to the bitterness of her father, she left her home. And she started living with a friend at her house. After staying there for a few months, she took a house for rent.

In college, she befriended Sujit which later turned into love. It was on Sujit's advice that Geeta decided to pursue CA education. Sujit always boosted their morale. But Sujit has to go from Mumbai to Bangalore due to work. Sujit died there in 2012 due to a road accident.

That mind started breaking from inside. Fed up with her circumstances, one day Geeta decided to end her miserable life and consumed sleeping pills. Then her friends took her to the hospital. After coming out of the mouth of death, Geeta understood the importance of her life and resigned from the job taking an important decision in her life.

Making the second start in her life, Geeta Chauhan started her own garments business which resulted in her own shop in Mumbai.

While moving forward from constant struggle, Geeta came to know that the world of sports is open for physically disabled people as well and Geeta saw a ray of hope for herself from here only. Geeta decided to join Mumbai's women's wheelchair basketball team.

She first participated in the 4th National Wheelchair Basketball in 2017. For the second time in 2018, in the 5th National Wheelchair Basketball, she was the top scorer in that tournament with 12 points in the final match against Tamil Nadu, and she also received a gold medal for the victory.
