Meet Sreelakshmi Suresh World's youngest web designer and became the world's youngest CEO

Srilakshmi Suresh is the youngest female entrepreneur in India. She designed and developed the official website of her school located in Kozhikode (Kerala) when she was only 8 years old. At the age of 11, she founded two companies “TinyLogo” a logo-based search engine, and “eDesign” a web designing company; This company provides SEO, designing, and other web designing-related services. 

Srilakshmi Suresh has developed more than 100 websites for renowned institutions and organizations across India. Sreelakshmi has received several national and international awards.

Sreelakshmi Suresh was born on 5th February 1998 in Kozhikode (Calicut), Kerala State to Mr. Suresh Menon (Advocate, Calicut Bar Council) father, and Mrs. Viju Suresh's mother. Sreelakshmi's interest in computers started at the age of 3 and she started designing at the age of 4.  She created her first website in 2006 at the age of only 8.

In 2008 Sreelakshmi designed and developed the official website www.presentationhss.com of her school Presentation Higher Secondary School, Kozhikode which was inaugurated on 15 January 2007 by Binoy Viswam, Forest Minister, Government of Kerala which did not have a proper website. 

Seeing a website designed by a young boy, Sreelakshmi got inspired and excited to create a website for her school. The successful launch of her first site gave her the confidence to build websites for others as well, and as a result, Srilakshmi founded eDesign in 2009.

Sreelakshmi Suresh is the recipient of several awards and other recognitions.

• She was awarded the National Child Award for Exceptional Achievement in 2008 by the Ministry of Women and Child Development (India). The award was presented to him by Sonia Gandhi on 5 January 2009 at a function held at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi.
