The best people are not those who wait for opportunities, but those who seize them, win them and make them successful! - Dr. A P J Abdul Kalam

Success is never achieved in a minute, for that continuous efforts have to be made, one has to be stubborn and persevere.

Dr. Usha Yadav, a senior litterateur from Agra, is one such story of continuous efforts and meditation.

Usha ji started writing poems from the age of 9. When she was in 9th standard, her first poem was published in the school magazine. And since then she has been writing continuously without stopping. And kept moving forward towards the compositions of literature and stories.

Usha ji has been selected for India's fourth highest civilian award Padma Shri in 2021 for her literary art, as a result of her practice.

Usha ji has written more than 100 books including the story collection 'Tukde-Tukde Sukh', 'Sapnon ke Indradhanush' and novels 'Prakash Ki Ore' and 'Aankhon Ka Akash'. She was mostly appreciated for her books on children's literature.

Usha ji was born in 1948 in Kanpur. Her father Chandrapal Singh Mayank was a children's writer. He was also a lawyer as well. Many of his books and story collections were published. He was a lawyer by profession. Her father wanted to make her a judge because of her association with the judicial field, but she was always interested in teaching and writing.

She received her early education in Kanpur. She started writing from the age of 9 only. Her first poem was published in the school magazine when she was in class 9th. Since childhood, she had a special inclination towards studies. At the age of 12, she had passed high school (10th).

She did M.A. in Hindi and completed Ph.D from Kanpur University (now Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University).

The city of Kanpur with its literary atmosphere taught her a lot. The literary environment there played an important role in her writings. There are idioms and proverbs in the colloquial language of the people there. Which she took advantage of very well.

In 1966, she got married to Raj Kishore Singh. Even after marriage, she continued teaching in Kanpur. After some time she came to Agra.

When she came to Agra after marriage, she used to write secretly and then secretly burn it. There were apprehensions in her mind that her husband would not understand her. One day her husband saw some of her creations. After that her husband inspired her to write, after that when Usha ji's pen started moving, it did not stop till date.

Completed D.Litt from Agra University. Then taught in Ratanmuni Jain Inter College for one year. After this, she was appointed as professor at Central Hindi Institute, Agra, Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar University, Kanhaiyalal Maniklal Munshi Hindi Vidyapeeth and retired as professor from there.

If the child is from a well-to-do home, the child has everything except the time of the parents. They remain lonely and sad.

The children of the middle class family are under the pressure of the expectations of the parents. It is always imposed on them that they have to do this, not that. There is a crisis of bread and stomachs in the child of poor class. Their childhood goes on fulfilling that. Similarly, the feeling of insecurity in women and girls is increasing. She doesn't feel safe to go out.
